Junior Finance Officer

Title: Junior Finance Officer

Department: Finance

Reports to: Financial Controller

Summary:

Perform advanced bookkeeping functions. Work is performed under the direct supervision of the Financial Controller.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Prepare and input accounting documents such as fees, receipts, invoices, requisitions, vouchers, expense accounts and related payables.
  • Input requisitions purchase orders and disbursement information to appropriate ledgers or journals.
  • Type and disburse checks (as required).
  • Prepare reports and correspondence as directed by the Financial Controller.
  • Assist with vendor statement reconciliation.
  • Provide Customer Service to clients.
  • Updating Financial Records.
  • Supporting the Financial Controller & Executives with projects and task when required.
  • Perform any other reasonable duties assigned by Management.

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Associate degree or equivalent
  • Accounting Stage II
  • Five (5) BGCSE at grade C or above
  • Computer Literate
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Minimum two (2) years technical or administrative experience

Finance Support Assistant

Title: Finance Support Assistant

Department: Finance

Reports to: Financial Controller

Summary:

Provides support and administrative assistance to the Financial Controller.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Receive incoming calls, place calls and schedule appointments.
  • Perform typing and transcription duties as required.
  • Perform general accepted support/administrative duties to include but not limited to photocopying, faxing, filing, record keeping, reservations, and other ancillary functions.
  • Assist with client follow-up by drafting letters writing and preparing reports, documents, and spreadsheets.
  • Assist in research as required by other departments.
  • Prepare and distribute checks.
  • Updating Financial Records.
  • Supporting the Financial Controller & Executives with projects and task when required.
  • Perform any other reasonable duties assigned by Management.

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Minimum three (3) BGCSE’s at grade C or above including Mathematics
  • Computer Literate
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Minimum two (2) years technical or administrative experience
  • Bookkeeping experience

Assistant Manager
Human Resources

Title: Assistant Manager- Human Resources

Department: HR & Administration

Reports to: HR & Administration Director

Summary:

This position provides support to the HR Director and HR customers. The position primary functions are overseeing renumeration packages and managing internal customer support.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Ensures administration of the rules and regulations of benefits programs including medical, pension, life plan,
  • Assists in the Recruitment process (interviewing, document collection onboarding etc.)
  • Assists in the preparation & dissemination of Termination packages.
  • Prepares Monthly HR Reports (New Hire, Termination, Disciplinary, Expense etc.)
  • Assists with National Insurance queries
  • Assists in preparation and distribution of quarterly Pension statement
  • Assists with the dissemination of accurate and timely information in and out of the Human Resources Department
  • Manages the orientation programs for new and existing employees to acquaint them with the organization, policies, procedures and rules.
  • Manages HRMS with responsibility for all vendor relations and payments
  • Coordinates all employee relations initiatives inclusive of research, assistance with policy drafting and vendor communications
  • Updates HR/Admin forms, documents, policies and Employee Handbook
  • Coordinates and developing training and development programs based on both the Authority’s and the individual’s needs;

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Requires 3 years of experience at supervisory level and 5 years’ experience in office administration or
  • Bachelor’s degree in business related field or equivalent years of experience or
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Human Resources or equivalent
  • Strong word processing skills (PowerPoint, Excel, and Word)
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to understand, interpret, communicate, and carry out instructions.
  • Organizational and administrative skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills
  • Confidentiality skills
